Mohammed Khalid Al-Hazza, Acting Attorney-General, Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Chief, received here today Fiona Walker Doyle, the newly-appointed Deputy of Mission at the UK Embassy to Bahrain.
Al-Hazza congratulated Fiona Walker Doyle on assuming her new duties, and wished her every success.
He reviewed the nature of the SIU's work, legal competencies, and the role it plays in protecting human rights in the criminal justice system, in accordance with the relevant international standards.
The two sides also discussed aspects of joint cooperation and exchange of experiences, in light of the distinguished relations between the two kingdoms.
