Slovak-Moroccan Dialogue Praised for Openness and Depth


Rabat: Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia, Juraj Blan¡r, expressed in Rabat that the dialogue between Slovakia and Morocco is distinguished by its openness and depth. During a press conference following his meeting with Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, Blan¡r emphasized Slovakia’s view of Morocco as a significant partner in Africa, aiming to initiate a new era of reinforced cooperation across various sectors.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Blan¡r mentioned that a joint declaration and a memorandum of understanding were signed to enhance bilateral cooperation in diverse areas. He expressed a desire to extend partnership prospects to other sectors as well. The Slovak minister underscored the importance of focusing on specific projects to bolster bilateral trade initiatives and highlighted the importance of mutual support for the countries’ bids within the UN Security Council for the 2028-2029 period. He also noted their collaboration in maintaining international peace and security.



Blan¡r remarked on the countries’ shared visions regarding mutual bids and their efforts to avoid international conflicts through the United Nations. He reflected on the need for UN reform to further strengthen the Slovak-Moroccan partnership. Furthermore, he affirmed Slovakia’s commitment to respecting and supporting Morocco’s interests, acknowledging Morocco as a dependable partner dedicated to upholding international law.
