Manama, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, received Farouk Yousuf Khalil Almoayyed, Board of Directors Chairman of “Better Life” Association for charitable work, alongside board members.
The minister reviewed the Association’s fields of work and development goals, citing the economic and social services it delivers to boost charity work, in cooperation and coordination with various government and private entities.
He commended the efforts exerted by the Association to consolidate community partnership, highlighting the major role played by Bahraini businessmen to promote the values of social solidarity.
He underlined the Social Development Ministry’s support for the efforts and initiatives of NGOs, as part of its keenness to consolidate charity and humanitarian work principles.
