Social Development Minister Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor hailed efforts led by Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to combat drug trafficking.
He noted Bahrain's commitment to observe the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in order to enhance community awareness about the dangers of this scourge.
He highlighted the participation of the Ministry of Social Development in supporting national efforts to highlight the importance of combating narcotics and psychotropic substances towards building a drug-free society.
