In a statement to the press, Sekkouri said that the launch of the second round of social dialogue takes place “for the first time in the history of Morocco before the vote on the appropriation bill,” highlighting the importance of these exchanges for the most representative trade unions, employers and the government.

Emphasis was also placed, during this meeting, on the development of a common vision for the establishment of the National Observatory of Social Dialogue and the Academy of Training in the field of labor, employment and social climate, as support mechanisms for the institutionalization of social dialogue, said the Minister.

The government, trade unions and employers are fully committed and mobilized for the success of social dialogue, in a consensual and participatory framework, he noted.

The second round of social dialogue was initiated on Wednesday. It is part of the government’s commitment to implement the royal vision for the institutionalization of social dialogue, to set it as a strategic choice. The government has ensured in this regard, since its formation, to build strong partnerships with social partners in order to lay the foundations of a serious and regular social dialogue and respect all social commitments in the government program.
