Spain’s Sánchez Praises Tripartite Cooperation Ahead of 2030 World Cup


Madrid: Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez highlighted on Wednesday in Madrid the strong symbolic significance of cooperation between Spain, Morocco, and Portugal in the joint hosting of the 2030 FIFA World Cup. Speaking at the third meeting of the interministerial commission responsible for preparing for the global event, Sánchez stated that Spain is taking on this challenge alongside “two friendly and neighboring countries,” Morocco and Portugal.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Spanish Prime Minister noted that the 2030 World Cup represents one of the most significant events in Spain’s recent history, recalling that it is the largest sporting competition in the world.
