Rabat: Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita received Sering Modou Njie, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, who is serving as the Special Envoy of Gambian President Adama Barrow, on Thursday. Njie arrived in Rabat carrying a written message for His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, following their discussions, Njie highlighted the friendly and brotherly ties between Morocco and Gambia. He emphasized the mutual commitment to enhance the bilateral strategic partnership, aligning with the visionary leadership of both King Mohammed VI and President Adama Barrow.
Njie further commended the strong relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Gambia, which are based on shared values of friendship, brotherhood, and solidarity. He reaffirmed Gambia’s determination to deepen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
