In a statement released by the Royal Cabinet, it was announced that "His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, is pleased to announce to the Moroccan people that the FIFA Council has unanimously selected the Morocco-Spain-Portugal bid as the sole candidate for hosting the 2030 World Cup." This decision has been seen as an acknowledgment of Morocco's significant standing among the world's leading nations.
His Majesty the King also conveyed his congratulations to the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Portugal, reaffirming Morocco's commitment to working closely and harmoniously with the relevant authorities in each of the host countries.
