The Israeli occupation forces today detained Ali Abu al-Asal, son of the Palestinian Authority's Governor of Jericho, Jihad Abu al-Asal, whose two other sons are currently detained in Israel, according to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS). Ali Abu al-Asal, 35, married with five children from Aqbat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho, was detained by soldiers today, according to Eid Brahma, head of the PPS office in Jericho. He said two of Ali's brothers are currently in Israeli custody: Nael, who has been in detention for a year-and-a-half, and Ahmad, who was detained two months ago and slammed with six months in administrative detention.
