The Israeli occupation forces today notified the demolition of a home and ordered to stop work on a school and another home in the village of Ma’een in Masafer Yatta in the South Hebron Hills.
The forces raided the village and notified a local resident of the demolition of his home which houses a family of nine people and has an area of 150 square meters, according to Rateb Jabour, the coordinator of the National and Popular Committees Against the Wall and Settlements.
The forces also notified to stop work in the Ma’een Secondary School for Girls and in the 150-square-meter home of another resident of the same village.
Jabour said the occupation’s goal through these orders is to expand the nearby so-called Avigal settlement.
