Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Forecast for Moroccan Provinces


Rabat: Heavy thunderstorms with gusty winds are expected on Monday to hit several provinces of the Kingdom, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). Rainfall amounts between 15 and 25 mm are expected from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm in the provinces of Midelt, Kh©nifra, Ifrane, Beni Mellal, Taourirt, Jerada, Taza, and Guercif, the DGM said in an orange alert bulletin.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the weather conditions are anticipated to bring significant rainfall and strong winds across the affected areas. The DGM has issued warnings to ensure that residents and local authorities are prepared for the impending weather changes. The announcement comes as part of ongoing efforts to keep the public informed and safe during severe weather events.
