Thunderstorms and Strong Winds to Hit Several Moroccan Provinces


Morocco: Locally heavy thundery showers, measuring between 20 and 30 mm, are anticipated on Thursday from 01:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the provinces of Tata, Inzegane-Ait Melloul, Chichaoua, Essaouira, Safi, Taroudant, and Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, as per an orange-level alert bulletin issued by the DGM.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, strong wind gusts accompanied by dust storms, ranging from 75 to 85 km/h, will impact the provinces of Essaouira, Chichaoua, and Al Haouz on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 09:00 p.m. Moreover, the same weather conditions, with wind speeds expected between 85 and 95 km/h, are forecasted on Thursday from 02:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. in the provinces of Chichaoua, Al Haouz, Midelt, Azilal, and Ouarzazate, as added by the DGM.
