Rabat: Heavy thunderstorms with a chance of hail are forecast for Monday in several Moroccan provinces, according to the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, showers measuring between 20 to 35 mm are expected on Monday, from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., in the provinces of Chtouka At Baha, Chichaoua, Kh©misset, El Hajeb, and Taroudant. The DGM has released an orange-level weather report indicating these conditions.

The DGM notes that the provinces of Khouribga, Ifrane, Khenifra, Figuig, Boulemane, Settat, and Sefrou will also be affected by this weather phenomenon during the same time period.
