Tourism: Morocco Welcomes 15 Million Arrivals by End of September 2025

Rabat: Morocco has achieved a milestone by welcoming 15 million tourist arrivals by the end of September 2025. The Ministry of Tourism reported that September alone saw 1.4 million arrivals, marking a 9% increase compared to the same period last year.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, this new record underscores the sustained positive momentum observed since the beginning of 2025. This growth has been fueled by enhanced air connectivity, strategic promotional activities, and continuous improvements in the tourist experience.

The Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, commented that the 15 million arrivals are indicative of an effective strategy. She emphasized the government’s commitment to further accelerate this growth, positioning tourism as a significant economic contributor across all regions of Morocco.
