Dreux townhall: “Billions of euros are injected into hundreds of projects covering all fields in Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, including infrastructure, industry, fishing, tourism, health, education and real estate”, the site stresses. This momentum doesn’t prevent Dakhla from “cultivating the legendary Sahara hospitality and its links with our town”, Dreux mayor Pierre-Fr©d©ric Billet notes, quoted in the article.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, a few weeks after welcoming a delegation from the town of Dakhla to Dreux and signing a friendship pact between the two communes, the Moroccan side invited Dreux inhabitants to discover the region early July. This is described as “a sign of respect that is all the more appreciated given that Dakhla is now attracting elected representatives from the world’s largest cities and multinationals looking for opportunities”.
Several projects to be carried out with Dakhla were determined, ranging from renewable energies to training for the hotel industry, import-export of building materials, digital innovation and culture, the article adds.
