Dr. Fouad Mohammed Al Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain (UoB) received ICT entrepreneur Waleed Ebrahim Kanoo.

Dr. Al Ansari stressed the importance of community partnership and cooperation with all professional sectors to achieve sustainable development goals in Bahrain.

He highlighted the prospects for cooperation between the UoB and the sectors of technology, information technology, communications, and entrepreneurship, to serve the educational process at the university.

The president praised the role of the private sector in supporting the educational process and its contribution to advancing the pace of sustainable development in the Kingdom.

Kanoo hailed UoB’s role in advancing university education, all it achievements, and its role in providing the public and private sectors with efficient student outputs, trained to perform work with high quality,

He noted that the university offers great academic programmes compatible with the needs of the labor market.
