Rabat: The First Vice-Speaker of the House of Councillors, Abdelkader Salama, engaged in discussions on Tuesday in Rabat with Alexander Dvoinykh, the Chairman of the Russia-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Federation Council of Russia. This is aimed at facilitating the exchange of expertise and experiences and sharing best practices in legislative and institutional matters.
For his part, Dvoinykh affirmed that Russia considers Morocco a key and strategic partner on the African continent. He noted that this visit is part of efforts to inject new momentum into parliamentary cooperation, strengthen economic and tourism partnerships, and explore new avenues of collaboration, particularly in maritime fisheries, energy, digital transition, and pharmaceutical industries.
