Barcelona: Vueling Airlines has officially launched its new air route connecting Barcelona to Agadir. The inaugural flight, with the flight number VY8530, successfully landed on Sunday at 10:30 am, marking the commencement of this direct link between the two cities.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, this new connection will be available twice a week, specifically on Wednesdays and Sundays. This initiative is a part of Vueling’s broader expansion strategy, which focuses on enhancing its international connectivity from Barcelona, the Catalan capital.

The addition of the Barcelona-Agadir route signifies Vueling’s ongoing efforts to increase its footprint in Morocco. Prior to this, Vueling already operated flights from Barcelona to Moroccan cities including Essaouira and Marrakech. This expansion further solidifies the airline’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the North African region.
