RAMALLAH: Palestine is expected to continue to be affected by a heatwave today, thus weather is expected to be clear in general, very hot, dry and dusty and times with a drop in temperature, while remaining four degrees Celsius higher than its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds is southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
Weather on Thursday will be generally clear and hot to very hot in most areas. Temperature will rise to become higher than its annual average by about six degrees Celsius.
No change on temperature or weather conditions is expected on Friday.
Saturday’s weather will be generally clear and hot in most areas, with a drop in temperature while remaining above their annual average by about three degrees Celsius.
PMD warned citizens against exposure to direct sunlight for a long period, especially during peak hours, and of the danger of setting fires in areas where grasses and dry trees abound.
