Manama, Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), attended the Institute of Quran Recitations and Preparation of Teachers held at the Isa Cultural Centre, the graduation ceremony of the first batch of students of the Quran Teacher Diploma at the institute, numbering 53 graduates, including 16 males and 37 females.

Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed expressed appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for their support of the SCIA, its activities and programmes, including the establishment of the Institute of Readings and Preparation of Quran Teachers.

The ceremony began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciter Abdullah Janahi, followed by a speech by Shaikh Abdullah Qahtan Al Omari, the Director of the Institute. An introductory film was shown about the institute, its establishment, mission, vision, goals and programmes. The graduate student Yo
usif Al Nuaimi delivered the graduates’ speech.

Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa concluded the ceremony by presenting certificates to the graduates.

The number of graduates from the institution reached 53 graduates of both genders, seven of whom received the top level; Batool Zayed Hamdan Al Qouz, Najib Mohammad Qasim Al Reemi, Afaf bint Kamal Jama’ai, Ibrahim Mohammad Al Sayed Eid Hameed, Fatima Al Zahra’a Hisham Abduljalil, Fawzia Hassan Rashid Al Aradi, and Asmaa Qurni Ibrahim Taha.

17 graduates achieved the excellent level; Amani Barakat Ahmed Fakhr Al Deen, Fatima Shibl Hasanayn Ahmad Jundi, Jamal Jaber Faza’a Abdula’al, Abdulrahman Yousef Ramadan Mahmood, Hanan Ali Ibrahim Madan, Batool Jassim Mousa Idrees, Anisa Abbas Kadhem Abbas, Zainab Mahmood Mohammed Abdullah, Maysoon Mohammed Ahmed Al Hares, Yousef Ali Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Asmaa Farouk Salama Al Hakim, Ibtisam Sayed Bayoumi Awadh, Umayya Hijab Mustafa Mohammed, Safiya Mohammed Othman Mohammed, Abdulkareem Qasim Nasser Awadh
, Kaltham Ahmed Othman Al Othman, and Intesar Saeed Marsh Qahtan.
