Casablanca: In the Round of 16 match played on Saturday at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, Tunisia opened the scoring in the 89th minute through Firas Chaouat before Lassine Sinayoko equalised for Mali in stoppage time (90+6). The two sides remained level at the end of regulation time and extra time. The penalty shoot-out went Mali’s way (3-2).
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, in the quarter-finals, Mali will face Senegal, who earlier in the day defeated Sudan 3-1.
