Cameroon Joins Morocco in AFCON 2025 Quarter-finals After Victory Over South Africa


Rabat: Cameroon have joined Morocco in the quarter-finals of AFCON 2025 after defeating South Africa 2-1 in the Round of 16 on Sunday at Stade Al Madina in Rabat.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Cameroonian goals were scored by Junior Tchamadeu in the 34th minute and Christian Kofane in the 47th minute. South Africa managed to pull one back with a goal from Sekotori Makgopa in the 88th minute.



The Indomitable Lions are set to face the Lions of the Atlas in the quarter-finals. Morocco secured their spot by eliminating Tanzania with a goal from Brahim D­az in the 64th minute.
