Agadir: The Cameroonian national football team clinched a 1-0 victory against Gabon on Wednesday evening at the Grand Stadium of Agadir in the opening match of Group F of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON Morocco-2025). The decisive goal came early in the match, with Karl Etta Eyong finding the net in the 6th minute.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, in another Group F encounter held earlier in the evening, C´te d’Ivoire managed a 1-0 win over Mozambique at the Grand Stadium of Marrakech. This result places C´te d’Ivoire and Cameroon at the top of Group F, each with three points, while Gabon and Mozambique remain without points.
The next round of matches in Group F is set for December 28. Cameroon will compete against C´te d’Ivoire at the Grand Stadium of Marrakech, and Gabon will face Mozambique at the Grand Stadium of Agadir.
