Marrakech: C´te d’Ivoire got the better of Mozambique in a 1-0 victory in the first fixture of Group F of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON Morocco 2025) on Wednesday at the Grand Stadium of Marrakech. The game’s only goal was scored by Amad Diallo in the 49th minute.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, C´te d’Ivoire leads Group F following this victory with 3 points, while Mozambique remains last with zero. The other group’s fixture is set to be played at 9 p.m. between Gabon and Cameroon at the Grand Stadium of Agadir.
