New York:Chile has reiterated its support for Morocco’s sovereignty over its entire territory, including the Sahara region, during a session at the United Nations.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Chile’s representative expressed the nation’s backing for Morocco’s autonomy plan, describing it as a fair and enduring political solution. This proposal, presented by Morocco in 2007, is aligned with United Nations Security Council resolutions.

Chile’s commitment was conveyed by its representative before the Fourth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, emphasizing the significance of the autonomy proposal for achieving a definitive settlement.
