New York:El Salvador has expressed its backing for Morocco’s efforts to find a solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, El Salvador reaffirmed its support during a statement made at the Fourth Committee of the UN General Assembly. The representative emphasized that Morocco’s autonomy initiative is a key component in resolving the dispute.

Furthermore, El Salvador acknowledged the efforts of the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General in facilitating the political process under the UN’s auspices.
