Cypriot president arrives in Palestine on an official visit

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Christodoulides, arrived today in Palestine from Jordan on an official visit. President Christodoulides was received at the helipad at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Riyad Malki and Presidential Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs Majdi al-Khalidi. The President of Cyprus began his visit to Palestine by laying a wreath at the tomb of Yasser Arafat, followed by a visit to the Arafat Museum. He is scheduled to hold talks with President Mahmoud Abbas later in the day.
