Rabat: Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the South Zone, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States of America, General Charles Brown, hailed the momentum of military cooperation between the Moroccan and US armies in various fields.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, at the request of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid had a phone call with General Charles Brown. During the call, the military leaders emphasized the significance of the African Lion exercise, held in Morocco since 2004, as a testament to the strength and depth of the Moroccan-US strategic partnership.
The discussions also covered issues of common interest, focusing on regional security and exploring ways to combine efforts to address the challenges and threats currently facing the region.
