Morocco and UNESCO to Enhance Collaboration in Technology and Sciences


Addis Ababa: Morocco’s Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Public Administration Reform, Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, held a working session on Tuesday in Paris with UNESCO’s Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences, Gabriela Ramos. The session aimed to explore the prospects for cooperation in various fields.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss strengthening the partnership between Morocco and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The discussions focused on potential collaboration in fields related to artificial intelligence and high technology.



During the meeting, Seghrouchni emphasized the momentum Morocco is experiencing in digital transition, aligning with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. Ramos, representing UNESCO, commended Morocco for its progress in digitalization and its active participation in UNESCO initiatives. She also highlighted the organization’s interest in deepening coordination with Morocco in these areas.
