Five Palestinians killed in Israeli artillery shelling on Jabalia

GAZA: Five Palestinian civilians were killed today in an Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the eastern area of the town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

The sources reported that Israeli artillery fired several shells east of Jabalia, resulting in the murder of five civilians and the injury of dozens more. Israeli occupation forces further prevented ambulance vehicles from reaching the scene.

In addition to the artillery shelling, Israeli warplanes and drones carried out a series of airstrikes on the town of Al-Qarara in the southern province of Khan Yunis.

In addition, medical sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces committed 15 massacres, claiming the lives of 178 martyrs over the past 24 hours.

In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli war of genocide on Gaza has claimed the lives of approximately 25,105 individuals since October 7, with 62,680 others injured, the majority of whom are women and children.

Worse still, the aggression has resulted i
n the forceful displacement of nearly 2 million people from all of the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced by Israel into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt-in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
