Foreign Minister meets AIPAC Board of Directors Chair

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met at the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain in New York with the Chair of the Board of Directors of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), Betsy Berns Korn, and several members of the Committee, on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 78).

The two sides discussed the close and long-standing relations of friendship between the two countries, and areas of cooperation between the Foreign Ministry and AIPAC within the framework of the objectives of the Abraham Accords.

They also reviewed ways to support efforts aimed at promoting peace, security and regional stability, as well as establishing the values of tolerance and coexistence for the benefit of the peoples of the region, in addition to exchanging views on issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and the delegation accompanying the Foreign Minister.
