Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received today outgoing Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Piyush Srivastava.

He praised the ambassador’s diplomatic efforts to boost relations of friendship between both countries and achieve common interests. He wished him every success in his new assignment.

The Indian ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and all officials in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the support given to him during his tenure, wishing Bahrain more growth and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Rami Saleh Wriekat Al Adwan, Director General of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Shaikha Mounira bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Head of the Protocols Sector at the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Salah Mohammed Shehab, and Head of the Asian and Pacific Ocean Affairs Sector at the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Fatima Abdullah Al Dhaen.
