Former Moroccan International Youssef Hajji Appointed National Team Second Assistant Coach


Rabat: Former Moroccan international Youssef Hajji has joined the technical staff of the national football team as the second assistant coach to Mohamed Ouahbi. This appointment is part of the strengthening of the technical management of the Atlas Lions under the leadership of the U20 World Champion.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Youssef Hajji previously worked alongside Tarik Sektioui as an assistant coach, notably during the Olympic Games, the CHAN (African Nations Championship), and the Arab Cup. His involvement in these significant tournaments has provided him with valuable experience that he is expected to bring to his new role with the national team.



Furthermore, Mohamed Ouahbi announced during his presentation as the new coach of the Moroccan national team that the Portuguese Joo Sacramento has been appointed as the first assistant coach. This new coaching line-up is anticipated to bring fresh perspectives and strategies to the team as they prepare for upcoming competitions.
