Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency’s Ramadan Solidarity Efforts in Al-Quds Continue Amid Challenges


Al-quds: The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency is continuing the implementation of its Ramadan solidarity campaign in Al-Quds and its surroundings, in line with the established plan, despite the difficult conditions facing the Holy City.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the campaign notably includes the daily distribution of iftar meals, the organization of collective iftars, and the implementation of recreational activities for the benefit of children and their families.

As part of this effort, the Agency organized a collective iftar and a Ramadan evening for children and their families in the locality of Bir Nabala, in partnership with the Association of Women of Northwest Al-Quds, in the presence of representatives of official institutions and civil society.

Chief of staff of the governorate of the villages of northwest Al-Quds, Mowaffaq Al-Khatib, stressed that this initiative is part of collective efforts aimed at strengthening the resilience of populations and reinforcing the spirit of social s
olidarity. He noted that the initiative, which coincides with Laylat al-Qadr and the last blessed days of the holy month of Ramadan, embodies the values of solidarity and mutual support towards the Palestinian people, particularly in Al-Quds and its surroundings.

He also praised the role of Morocco King, government and people through the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, in helping alleviate the suffering of Palestinian families and providing them with the necessary support across various regions, particularly in Al-Quds and its vicinity.

For her part, President of the Association of Women of Northwest Al-Quds, Souzan Tayssir, expressed her gratitude to the Agency for supporting these activities for underprivileged families in Bir Nabala and surrounding areas, welcoming the partnership between the two parties and reaffirming the willingness to strengthen it through new joint programs.

The campaign includes the distribution of 5,000 food baskets for needy families, the supply of social centers to prepare aro
und 20,000 daily iftar meals, as well as the distribution of Eid clothing for 500 orphans, in addition to the organization of religious, cultural and training activities.

The Agency has organized iftars for Palestinian religious figures as well as for around 500 orphaned children and their families in Al-Quds, as part of a humanitarian initiative aimed at bringing them joy and comfort during the holy month.
