GCC Praises King Mohammed VI’s Leadership in Palestinian Advocacy


Rabat: The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, praised His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s enduring efforts in supporting the Palestinian cause and safeguarding the holy city during the 8th Morocco-GCC Joint Ministerial Meeting. King Mohammed VI, as Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, was commended for his commitment to preserving the civilizational and legal character of the city.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, during the videoconference meeting, Al-Budaiwi highlighted the significant role of the Royal diplomacy and the active involvement of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, which serves as the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee. Under King Mohammed VI’s leadership, the agency continues to execute key humanitarian and social initiatives aimed at bolstering the resilience of Al-Quds residents amidst ongoing challenges.



Al-Budaiwi also acknowledged the combined efforts of the GCC countries and Morocco in striving to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip. He reiterated support for international endeavors to achieve a just and lasting peace, ensuring the Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent state.
