Abidjan: Guinea has expressed admiration for Morocco’s remarkable advancement under the leadership of His Majesty the King, describing it as a model for development that Guinea aspires to emulate. Guinean Minister Nabé shared these sentiments during the Africa Investment Forum (AIF), which continues until November 28.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Nabé emphasized Guinea’s keen interest in Morocco’s approach to human capital, governance, infrastructure, and integrated public policies, viewing these areas as crucial sources of inspiration for Guinea’s own development initiatives. He noted that Guinea has opted to engage with major firms based in Morocco to drive its socio-economic development program, underscoring the recognized value of Moroccan expertise.
The minister also highlighted the importance of human exchanges between the two nations, mentioning that numerous young Guineans are currently pursuing their education in Morocco. Additionally, he pointed out that several members of the Guinean
government have benefited from training at Moroccan universities.
Nabé conveyed his country’s commitment to enhancing economic exchanges with Morocco, with an ambitious goal of significantly increasing current levels of trade, investment, and co-development projects. He praised the strong ties between Guinea and Morocco, which are based on a historical friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperation across various sectors.
In closing, Nabé expressed a desire for both countries to advance together, emphasizing a partnership rooted in shared prosperity, collaborative development, and mutual learning.
