On the afternoon of Monday 21st February, the Minister for Mines and Hydrocarbons, Gabriel Mbega Obiang Lima, held a meeting with a senior delegation from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, led by Félix Plasencia, Minister for Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting they discussed issues related to the recently signed confidentiality agreement on oil and gas cooperation.
It is expected that the first technical delegation will travel to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in the near future, to begin work on the ground. The agreement was established within the framework of the Ndote 1 Project, in Mbini.
