Rabat: Hot weather is expected on Saturday and Sunday in several Moroccan provinces, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, temperatures ranging from 40 to 45 °C are expected on Saturday and Sunday in the provinces of Fquih Ben Salah, Meknes, Moulay Yacoub, Larache, Taroudant, Ouazzane, Kenitra, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Khouribga, Settat, Chichaoua, Fez, Taounate, El Kelaa Sraghna, Marrakech, Rehamna, Khemisset, Sidi Bennour, Youssoufia, and Beni Mellal, the DGM states in an orange-level weather alert.
High temperatures, ranging between 34-41 °C, are forecast during the same period in the provinces of Benslimane, Berrechid, Rabat, Sal©, Skhirate-Temara, El Jadida, Safi, Essaouira, Casablanca, Mediouna, Mohammedia, Nouaceur, El Hajeb, and Khenifra, the DGM specifies.
