Lebanon Reaffirms Its Support for Morocco’s Territorial Integrity


Beirut: Lebanon has reiterated its steadfast support for Morocco’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. This stance was expressed during a meeting between the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Rajji, and His Majesty the King’s Ambassador to Lebanon, M’hamed Grine.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on its official account on the platform X that the meeting served as a platform to “explore ways to promote and strengthen relations between the two countries across all fields, as well as the latest developments concerning the Sahara issue.”



On this occasion, Minister Youssef Rajji reaffirmed “Lebanon’s consistent position in favor of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco and its territorial integrity.” This declaration underscores Lebanon’s ongoing diplomatic alignment with Morocco on this critical geopolitical matter.



For his part, Ambassador Grine highlighted in a statement to MAP that the discussions were conducted in an atmosphere of full understanding. He noted that the meeting provided an opportunity to review bilateral relations, discuss prospects for their strengthening and development, as well as address other matters of common interest, thereby enhancing the collaborative ties between Lebanon and Morocco.
