Rabat: During a phone conversation on Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radoslaw Sikorski, expressed their mutual will to step up their partnership.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the two ministers welcomed the “excellent bilateral relation” and agreed on the need to elevate their cooperation “to a higher level of reinforced partnership,” as stated in a Joint Communiqu© published following their conversation.
This ambition is supported by the economic dynamic between the two countries, with Morocco now being “Poland’s first partner in Africa,” and trade exchanges experiencing “full growth,” as highlighted in the Joint Communiqu©.
To embody this commitment, Sikorski invited Bourita to visit Poland to discuss the details and adopt an action plan. Bourita, in turn, expressed his desire to see Polish businessmen, investors, and exporters further engage with Morocco’s economy, particularly in opportunities related to the 2030 World Cup infrastructure projects, as well as public contracts, services, renewable energies, and agri-food.
