The High Commissioner of the Loroum province, Djibril Bassolé, chaired the ordinary session of the Titao district health council on Wednesday August 21, 2024 in Titao, in order to comb through end of the various activities of the last half of 2023 and first half of 2024.

Health stakeholders held their Titao district health council on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, to review the various health activities of the health district, for the last half of 2023 and first half of 2024.

The participants were entitled to the presentation of the summary report of the services of the Titao health district.

These communications made it possible to see the frequency of suspected cases of diseases with epidemic potential and some priority diseases notified during the first half of 2024 and the status of vaccination coverage for 2023-2024.

The opportunity was also offered to projects operating in the district to take stock of their interventions.

Thus the head of the ’emergency response project in support of targeted health
districts for improving access of people affected by the security and humanitarian crisis to holistic health services in the central North and North region of Burkina », Dr Gomga Kolomso, took stock of their intervention in the district.

The Alima/Kéogo/SOS Médecin consortium also took stock of the implementation of its medical-nutritional project that it is leading in the district.

‘The combined health actions made it possible to provide care to 82,926 people,’ recalled the Chief Medical Officer of the Titao health district (MCD), Dr Raphaël Zoundi.

Difficulties include, among other things, a lack of materials, insufficient energy sources, evacuation problems due to the inaccessibility of the land route and the minimal functioning of the laboratory and surgical antenna.
