Rabat:The French television channel M6 will broadcast a 47-minute documentary focused on Rabat this Friday, inviting audiences to explore a city in the midst of transformation, with new hotels, cultural venues, and modern architecture.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the documentary, titled “Un Jour, un doc” and directed by Rabah Aït-Hamadouche, provides an in-depth look at Rabat’s evolution. It includes exclusive access to significant landmarks such as the Mohammed VI Tower and the new Royal Theatre, highlighting the individuals contributing to the city’s growing international reputation.
The film showcases the Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé, situated at the top of the Mohammed VI Tower, and offers an exclusive view of the hotel. It also features the Royal Theatre, designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid, located alongside the Bouregreg River.
Through these venues and the stories of those behind them, the documentary portrays Rabat as a place that blends heritage, contemporary creativity, and large-scale projects, making it increasingly attractive to international tourists.
The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) emphasized the significance of this broadcast, noting that “Un Jour, un doc” is among M6’s top-rated afternoon programs, achieving its highest audience share outside the summer period in September 2026, with 8% of overall viewers and 12% of those aged 25 to 49 tuning in.
