Within activities prior to the Sixth Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), Gabriel Mbega Obiang Lima, Minister for Mines and Hydrocarbons, met his Nigerian counterpart, Timipre Sylva, on Monday 21st February, to discuss issues related to cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
The Minister for Mines and Hydrocarbons took the opportunity to once again confirm his participation at the upcoming edition of the Nigeria International Energy Summit, which is to take place from 28th February to 3rd March in Abuja.
They also discussed aspects related to the new initiative known as the Technical Strategic Alliance (TSA), which aims to exchange technical knowledge in the hydrocarbon sector, with countries such as Nigeria, Egypt and Algeria taking part.
