Moroccan Foreign Minister Meets Ecuadorian President to Strengthen Bilateral Relations


Quito: Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita was received in audience by Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa. The meeting, which took place in the presence of Moroccan ambassador to Colombia and Ecuador Farida Loudaya and Ecuadorian Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabriela Sommerfeld, marked a significant step in strengthening ties between the two nations.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, following the audience, Bourita addressed the press, conveying the Sovereign’s greetings and congratulations to President Noboa. Bourita emphasized that Ecuador is embarking on a new phase under President Noboa’s leadership, and Morocco is keen to support this transition. He expressed the Kingdom of Morocco’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in economic, commercial, and security fields.



Bourita’s visit to Ecuador was part of his role in representing His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the inauguration ceremony of President Daniel Noboa, which took place in Quito. This visit underscores the importance Morocco places on its relationship with Ecuador and its eagerness to collaborate on various fronts.
