Rabat: The discussions focused on identifying new business opportunities and leveraging the economic complementarities between the two countries. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to giving new impetus to bilateral relations through a joint working group and the organization of an upcoming official visit to Guatemala.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, this joint working group will be responsible for preparing Morocco’s official visit to Guatemala, scheduled to take place in 2026. For his part, Orozco expressed his country’s determination to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation with the Kingdom, notably through the expansion of trade exchanges and the promotion of private investment.

The meeting was attended by a high-level delegation of Guatemalan business leaders and forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation in the areas of trade and investment.
