Morocco and The Gambia Pledge to Strengthen Bilateral Ties in Key Sectors


Rabat: Speaking at a joint press briefing, Bourita emphasized the Kingdom’s willingness to deepen cooperation with The Gambia in various sectors through increased exchanges of ministerial visits and new bilateral agreements.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Minister also highlighted The Gambia’s role in promoting security and stability at the regional level, as well as its support for the Atlantic African States Process (AASP), launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and for the Atlantic African Gas Pipeline.



Regarding the Moroccan Sahara, Bourita stated that The Gambia has always been an “ally” of Morocco, underscoring the quality of the fraternal and solidarity-based relations between the two countries.



For his part, the Gambian Minister reaffirmed his country’s will to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with Morocco in various sectors. He also welcomed the strong, outstanding relations of friendship and cooperation between the two brotherly countries, expressing his country’s desire to see them further reinforced in the future.
