Morocco Poised to Host Major Sporting Events with Advanced Facilities, Says French MP

Rabat: The work carried out in Morocco in preparation for hosting the Africa Cup of Nations football tournament at the end of this year is ‘remarkable and exceptional,’ French MP Olive said in a statement to MAP on the sidelines of an international conference on the challenges posed by new forms of media. These modern sports facilities will make the Kingdom ‘one of the leading countries’ in the field of sports, the French deputy assured, noting that Morocco has reached an advanced stage in the development of sports installations capable of hosting the largest international competitions.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the international conference on the challenges posed by new forms of media, which brings together more than 150 journalists, media professionals, and content creators from all over the world, highlights the importance of cooperation and coordination between traditional media and social networks in covering major sporting events. On the sidelines of this conference, visits are being conducted to the Kingdom’s football infrastructure, as well as to the stadiums that will host CAN 2025 and the 2030 World Cup.
