Morocco Takes Part in 7th Abu Dhabi Cultural Summit

Abu Dhabi: Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid is representing Morocco at the 7th Cultural Summit in Abu Dhabi, currently held under the theme ‘Culture for Humanity and Beyond’.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Bensaid will engage in the Mondiacult initiative’s ministerial dialogue on ‘Culture in the Digital Age: The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Culture and Human Creativity’. The summit will also see the participation of Morocco’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Ahmed Tazi, alongside a host of intellectuals, artists, and creators from around the globe.

In his capacity as chair of consultations for the Arab region, Bensaid will also partake in the Mondiacult 2025 regional consultation forum. The event seeks to provide an intellectual platform for players from various disciplines to explore the relationship between culture, technology, and global governance. It features a program rich in conferences, artistic discussions, interactive workshops, cultural performances, and exhibitions.

The summit, running until April 29, aims to reconsider the concept of humanity by examining the role of culture in shaping a sustainable and inclusive global future. Cultural and educational activities include seminars, intellectual and artistic encounters, creative exhibitions, and workshops for both children and adults, along with interactive community events to foster cultural participation and knowledge exchange among people from different backgrounds.
