Rabat:Morocco’s national football team secured a 2-0 victory against Gabon at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, marking the first round of Group A in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON-2027) qualifiers.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the goals that led to Morocco’s win were scored by Noussair Mazraoui in the 36th minute and Soufiane Rahimi in the 84th minute.

The Moroccan team is set to play their next match on Tuesday, September 29, when they will travel to South Africa to face Lesotho.
