Rabat: Morocco’s Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance (DGSN-DGST) Abdellatif Hammouchi received Oman’s Ambassador to Morocco, Khalid Salim Bamkhalif, on Tuesday in Rabat. Talks centered on examining various aspects of security cooperation between both countries. Areas of bolstering cooperation involve namely countering terrorism and transnational crime. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange points of view, information and security expertise.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, on this occasion, both parties reviewed the latest security developments both regionally and internationally, as well as their repercussions on global security and stability.
The meeting, held within the framework of bilateral cooperation relations and solid brotherly ties between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Sultanate of Oman, reflects the willingness of both parties to consolidate the aspects and levels of coordination in all security and police areas, concludes the statement.
